Miami, Florida is known for its unique architectural designs and one-of-a-kind spots, not to mention its dreamy tropical weather. For two New Yorkers, Lilly and David loved the sound of it all. So, as they were planning their wedding they decided to make it a Miami destination wedding!
They found a unique ancient Spanish monastery that felt like it belonged in Europe. It’s romantic gardens, the twisting oak trees covered in moss, and the incredible monastery were a dream come true. When you walk up to it, it feels like you’re entering a mansion in the jungle. Who would have ever thought an ancient Spanish monastery hidden in Miami would be the most incredible wedding venue?
Really, the venue spoke for itself and gave Lilly and David everything they needed for their wedding day. Their simple yet elegant design played off the incredible surroundings brightening everything up with pops of pink and white throughout. My favorite part of their wedding day décor was the family style seated dinner they had! The table was decorated with bright peony centerpieces and candles illuminating the space. It was one long table so everyone could enjoy their meal together and the delicious meal was a highlight of the day.
Another incredible highlight was their couple’s photos. We spent time exploring the grounds of the ancient Spanish monastery soaking in all the tropical Miami vibes. There were so many unique spots for photos from the arched hallways to the magical forests surrounding the venue. Plus, Lilly and David are so incredible together. They were up for all the fun photos and were happy so long as they got to be together.
Soak in every bit of this incredible destination wedding and enjoy Lilly and David’s wedding. I know this will forever be a favorite!
